7 weeks
Alexis has changed so much in the last couple weeks. She is smiling now and working on "talking" to me. She really likes sitting up and looking around- it will be nice when she can do that on her own :o)

6 weeks... Loving my new activity center!
We bought a new Ocean Wonder activity center for Alexis and she loves it! There is a mirror that we can attach to the bars and she really likes watching herself. We also attached George the Octopus to one of the tabs and spends most of the time playing with him for now. Emma likes it when the baby is on the floor and keeps an eye on her laying right next to the mat.... until there is crying.
Alexis is doing great! Her favorite things are being outside and taking a bath. It seems like she is huge now and I get a little sad everytime I have to put one of outfits in "Clothes the baby has outgrown" box. We are working on our new sleeping through the night plan and 4 days into it, we seem to be doing good. She still loves 5:00am but that will come in handy when I have to gi back to work. I cannot believe that I am already half way through my maternity leave! That means school is going to start up again too. Bummer- I am having a great time being home with her. Happy things to look forward to.... Cory's birthday is right around the corner and then Brenda and family, Todd and family, and my dad will be here for a visit! Good times!!!
